“From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.” Ephesians 4:16 (CSB)
As I reflect on this past year and look toward the season ahead, I keep coming back to a simple thought: God is calling us to build people.
There are many things we can build as a church. We can build programs, ministries, systems, facilities, and even attendance. All of these have their place. But Ephesians reminds us that ultimately Christ is building His Church by building His people. Our desire is to help people become more like Jesus, grow deeper in their faith, love one another well, and discover how God has equipped them to participate in His work.
Looking back over the past year, we’re grateful for the many ways God has moved throughout our church and beyond. Our ministry reports capture just some of these moments — people growing in faith, relationships being strengthened, needs being met, and our community coming together in meaningful ways.
Behind every gathering, program, conversation, and act of service are people faithfully using their gifts to serve God and others. Together, these stories reflect more than what we’ve accomplished; they remind us of God’s continued faithfulness and our shared calling to love, serve, and make a difference in His name.
